Weights:

The weight to be carried by each horse shall be determined by the median price of its sire’s yearlings sold at the main public sales held in Europe and North America in 2011, in accordance with the bands shown: 60,001 gns or more: 8st 13lb 45,001 gns - 60,000 gns: 8st 11lb 30,001 gns - 45,000 gns: 8st 9lb 15,001 gns - 30,000 gns: 8st 7lb 15,000 guineas or less: 8st 5lb

Allowances

Fillies allowed 5lb in the open race

Penalties - winners of:

Class 4 race: 2lb | Class 3 race: 4lb Class 2 race: 6lb | Class 1 race: 8lb

Elimination

If at the declaration stage there are more entries than the applicable safety limit, runners will be reduced by the elimination of those horses which, in the opinion of the BHA Handicapper, have the lowest handicap rating.
